"These Things" Brings Classic Horror Comedy to Life with Alien Invasion Thrills | ZombieFuel.net

Cinephoto, an extension of the acclaimed Key 13 Films, proudly announces the upcoming production of "These Things," a feature-length horror comedy that promises to captivate audiences with its unique blend of comedy, action, and horror. This project marks an exciting venture into the world of feature-length horror for the Key 13 Films team, known for their award-winning short films and screenplays.

In "These Things," Sandra and her friends gather for a night of partying at a friend's house, only to find themselves facing a terrifying threat: killer aliens that resemble rubber string balls. As the night unfolds, they must fight for survival against these otherworldly assailants, testing their friendships and resourcefulness in a battle for their lives.

"These Things" embodies the spirit of classic horror comedies like "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and "Critters." While drawing inspiration from these beloved 80s films, "These Things" carves its own path with compelling characters and a seamless blend of comedy, action, and horror.

A standout feature of "These Things" is its dedication to practical effects, from the aliens to the blood. Kraig Sturtz, known for his work on "Harbinger Down" and Key 13 Films' debut "Heavy Duty Man," leads the special effects team. His expertise ensures the captivating movement and realistic portrayal of the alien creatures.

The film boasts a talented cast, including Jordan Hundley ("Bloody Summer Camp II"), Kay Leahy ("Bloody Summer Camp"), Kristinia Santiago ("Casting Couch Slaughter"), Heather Harlow ("Phobic"), Justin Martin ("Shriekshow"), Tony Bazemore Jr. ("Anna Key"), and Hunter Redfern ("Crackcoon"). These seasoned actors bring a wealth of horror film experience and impressive performances.

The screenplay is crafted by acclaimed screenwriter Matthew Lee Anderson, who also directs the film. Adam Vaughn serves as cinematographer, while Andrew Stainer, a long-standing member of the Key 13/Cinephoto team, takes on the role of sound engineer. Amanda Megan fulfills the vital role of Intimacy Coordinator, ensuring a respectful and professional environment on set.
